JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Sr. Systems Engineer will lead and direct variety of initiatives. The Sr. Systems Engineer will perform cradle to grave activities: systems acquisition planning; systems acquisition related document development; consult program management functions as they relate to systems engineering; gather requirements; define subsystem requirements; conduct analysis of alternatives; perform risk assessment; manage integrated product teams; report on factors that influence cost, schedule and performance; and ensure affordable, supportable and effective systems are delivered to the customer. Additionally, the Sr. Systems Engineer will support the customer by participating in a Systems Requirements Reviews, Program Design Reviews, Critical Design Reviews, Development Test and Evaluation, Monthly Program Reviews and Operation Assurance Test and Evaluation activities. The successful candidate will demonstrate experience with programs that encompass system architecture, requirements analysis, and integration, project development from inception to deployment. This experience should demonstrate ability to manage complex tasks. Excellent communication skills and superior customer service skills are required.REQUIRED EDUCATION/
SKILLS:
Possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or addition of 5 years to overall experience requirement SYSTEMS ENGINEERING
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 6 years experience, or 3 years with SE degree or certification. OVERALL ENGINEERING EXPERIENCE INCLUDING SYSTEMS ENGINEERING
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 10 years general engineering experience, 8 years with Master's, 6 years with PhD. TS/SCI with lifestyle polygraph is required.
DESIRED SKILLS:
DAWIA Level III in any field or PMP certification. Intelligence Community experience is desirable.
