Refrigeration Mechanic I: Performs all activities related to installation, full maintenance, preventive maintenance and repair of refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilating equipment, auxiliaries and their controls. Minimum Education/Training Required
Completion of a recognized refrigeration air conditioning mechanic apprentice training program of at least 3 years, or 4 years experience in the installation, alteration, maintenance, and repair of commercial, industrial, domestic refrigeration and air conditioning systems; or one year journey level experience in the installation, maintenance and repair of central, multi-zoned air conditioning systems. 4 years of HVAC work experience, with 2 or more years of journey level experience.
